Costume Planning

In our group we have decided to have the character in the opening sequence in a dress. After further research we decided that the dress type would be a white non fitted shift dress with no sleeves and tattered edges. On this dress there will be blood and mud to represent the character turning from good to bad. We chose the middle dress with the blood and mud on it because of what it can signify, it is not too expensive, it is stereotypically thought of when people mention female mental patients, it is typical to the Thriller genre to have someone in clothes that would not usually be worn in everyday life and it is non-fitting because it is supposed to look like it is not supposed to be for her because she was put into the mental hospital unjustly.
